Avery Alexandra was born on October 14, 2009. She has had many health issues to battle in her short life and this blog is for our family and friends to stay updated on her progress. We also want to document this process for other families to view who may be going through the same experience. We thank you all for your continued love & support..♥♥

MRI Results & Opthomologist

We met with the Opthomologist today and FINALLY some good news....the 3 spots in her head are almost gone!!!! We are thrilled about this news. The spot behind her eye is still there and the same size and is initially believed to be a cyst. Currently, it is not harming her eye in any way. Once she has her Craniosynostosis surgery, they will look at the spot behind her eye and determine what to do with it.

Her surgery will likely be on April 20, 2010. We are currently waiting to ensure that all three surgeons (Craniofacial Plastic Surgeon, Neurosurgeon, and Ocular Surgeon) will all be available at that time.
