Avery Alexandra was born on October 14, 2009. She has had many health issues to battle in her short life and this blog is for our family and friends to stay updated on her progress. Pre-op Labs & Toy Drive



Avery had her Pre-op Lab work done today. Like always, she hated the whole process of getting her blood drawn. Pictured above are all of the toys we collected to pass out to other children while we are at Rady's Children's Hospital.

Surgery is tomorrow. It has been a long 5 1/2 months waiting for this day to come, but now that it is here it seems so soon. I will be posting updates daily for the next week or so.

    You guys are so great that you will be donating so many wonderful toys from your family and friends! Praying for a fast smooth surgery tomorrow and for Avery to bounce back as soon as she can. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Please post when you can so we know she's doing well. I know everything will go smoothly.
